  • Penelope Swinney

    Penelope Swinney: Approved Provider

I am a trained teacher and a dedicated mum to three beautiful children. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with families, and work alongside passionate teachers and educators to ensure children receive the best education. I believe all children are unique and capable, with their own interests and passions. As teachers it is our job to explore those interests, nurture those passions and instil a belief in each child that they are capable, resilient and can make a difference in our world.

  • Gillian

Gillian: Centre Director, Early Childhood Teacher

I am an experienced early childhood professional with experience in an Australian and international context. I endeavour to create a rich, meaningful and inspiring learning environment where children can be curious, confident and capable learners whilst developing a strong sense of being and belonging.  My philosophy encompasses the belief that the early years sets essential foundations for the child’s future learnings and successful forthcoming years. I strive to ensure that each person that walks through the door becomes part of our family and I have a strong belief that families are the experts on their children. I adopt a culture of working in partnerships with families whilst creating trusting, strong and positive relationships. Working in the early childhood education profession is an enormous privilege to me and a wonderful opportunity to influence the future of the Australian society.

  • Louise

    Louise: Early Childhood Teacher

I have always had a calling to be a teacher with a lifelong need to learn. My teaching philosophy is about learning with children and viewing the child holistically to support them to be the best that they can be. I believe actively listening to and acknowledging a child is key to developing security and that the relationships a child has with family, community and their environment are integral to their development. I also believe that supporting and encouraging a child’s independence builds self-esteem. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity by families to be a part of each child’s life and learning.
  • Racquel

    Racquel: Diploma Educator

I believe Early Childhood Educators play an important role in each child’s life and I believe our students are our future. Each one of our students has the potential to bring something unique and special into the world. It is a privilege and honor to work alongside the children’s families to ensure the children feel safe, secure and supported. My aim is for our children to explore in a creative, challenging and stimulating environment whilst having fun, engaging with their peers and learning through play.

  • Tiffany

    Tiffany: Cook, Early Childhood Educator

My philosophy involves treating each child respectfully as the special and unique individual they are. Since I primarily work in the kitchen, I aim to inspire a love of nutritious food by encouraging tasting new foods, role modelling enjoying a variety of nutritional foods and talking about the different ingredients and meals. I also wish for each child to feel valued, safe and cared for which I hope in turn inspires them to use these positive behaviors with their interactions with peers and other relationships. Lastly, I want them to have fun!

  • Shoban

    Shoban: Early childhood Educator

I believe children learn and develop through play. Play supports children to build self-worth by giving a child a sense of his or her own identity and abilities. I believe through play learning is continuous and is interwoven through all developmental domains, including physical, social/emotional and cognitive. I will provide opportunities for children to play, explore, discover, create and imagine all while making them feel safe and secure. I believe that “Time spent playing with children is never wasted”.
