I am a trained teacher and a dedicated mum to three beautiful children. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with families, and work alongside passionate teachers and educators to ensure children receive the best education. I believe all children are unique and capable, with their own interests and passions. As teachers it is our job to explore those interests, nurture those passions and instil a belief in each child that they are capable, resilient and can make a difference in our world.

As a Preschool Director my own philosophy is based on helping young children grow in confidence and become effective learners who can contribute to their world and create relationships with other children and Educators. I always maintain a respectful relationship with families, working together to achieve the best outcome for their little one. I believe our amazing environment and our experienced Educators provide an exceptional early childhood setting based on the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring the community that surrounds our preschool is involved in the program.

I am an experienced early childhood professional with experience in an Australian and international context. I endeavour to create a rich, meaningful and inspiring learning environment where children can be curious, confident and capable learners whilst developing a strong sense of being and belonging. My philosophy encompasses the belief that the early years sets essential foundations for the child’s future learnings and successful forthcoming years. I strive to ensure that each person that walks through the door becomes part of our family and I have a strong belief that families are the experts on their children. I adopt a culture of working in partnerships with families whilst creating trusting, strong and positive relationships. Working in the early childhood education profession is an enormous privilege to me and a wonderful opportunity to influence the future of the Australian society.

Hi, I am Jessica. I have been working with children for the past 5 years in roles such as education support, disability support and now as an OSHC Coordinator. I strongly believe that each child is unique – in their interests, skills and abilities, and that these differences should be nurtured through play and learning experiences that we carefully curate. I take great pride in my role by embracing the development of each individual child, exploring the contributions they make to our lives and guiding future educators to become the best role models they can be.

My own philosophy shows that I value children above all else. Their imagination, playful and wonderous personalities is what drives me to be a better educator. As a wife and Mother to 4 gorgeous children I strive to make this beautiful centre a home away from home. I have worked with children for the past 12 years as a qualified Educator. I am currently studying my Bachelor of Early childhood education so that I can further my knowledge and help children become better versions of themselves.

My name’s Frankie and I’ve worked with children since I was young. My personal philosophy is that children are all individuals, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and it’s our job to help them learn and grow, remembering that we all learn in different ways. I love seeing their smiles every day and watching them grow into amazing young people. I encourage my staff to develop strong and meaningful relationships with the children and their families, as here in Capel, we are all a part of our awesome community. We value the input of the children, listening and learning from them each day, and implementing their ideas in our program and play.

I am an Early Childhood Teacher with 20 years experience within the industry. I believe that each child is central to their own learning, inspired to know and learn by their own interests. My goal is to harness these interests and inspire the children to question, investigate, create and learn through a rich play-based curriculum. My classroom is always filled with love and smiles and I endeavour to listen to each of the children in my care and present experiences that encourage the children to develop their strengths, problem-solving skills, independence, resilience and knowledge, as well as their creativity. I feel that fostering each child’s sense of belonging, as well as partnerships with families are the foundation of my work, and I strive to build meaningful, positive and respectful relationships with all children and families within the centre.

I believe all children should feel welcomed in a safe, warm environment where they feel like they belong. The first 5 years of a child’s life is the most important so I believe all children should be provided with educational, fun play based curriculum to encourage them to grow into unique individuals. I believe its important to communicate with families to gain information about the children’s interest, beliefs and traditions. All children and their families should be respected and treated equally.

I believe that all children should be able to express themselves in a safe and comforting environment. As someone who is studying primary teaching I enjoy planning purposeful activities so children can learn through play based curriculum and create their own ideas of the world. I build meaningful relationships with all children and families to ensure they feel valued at our OSHC.
