    Fees

    Leaps & Bounds Preschool is an all-inclusive preschool. Our daily fee includes a comprehensive education program, extended hours for greater flexibility, morning and afternoon tea, a nutritious lunch, incursions and excursions, nappies and use of all resources.

    • $175.05/day for 3 – 6 year old children.
    • $200.06/day for 2 – 3 year old children.

    Routine, Ongoing Bookings

    • $175.05/day for 3 – 6 year old children.
    • $200.06/day for 2 – 3 year old children.
    • A nutritious morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided as well as nappies.
    • All incursions and excursions are included in this fee.

    Casual Bookings

    • Half day bookings available from 7.30am – 12.30pm or 12.30pm – 6.00pm.
    • 2 – 3 years $116.70 per half day session.
    • 3 – 6 years $116.70 per half day session.
    • Sessions must be prearranged with management prior to attendance.
    • Full day bookings are available: $185.47/day for 3 – 6 year old children and $210.48/day for 2 – 3 year old children.
    • All meals, nappies and programs are included in this fee.

    Government rebates

    Leaps & Bounds Preschool daily fee is $175.05 per day for 3 – 6 years and $200.06 for 2 – 3 years. These fees are before the Childcare Subsidy has been applied.     We offer a number of discounts for our families:

    • 5% discount is available to a sibling of an attending child for permanent bookings.
    • 5% discount available for 5 day permanent bookings.
    • 50% discount is provided for a make up day for absent/sick days (doesn’t include holidays) – this must be booked one month from day of absence. A maximum of 10 per calendar year/per family is allowed.
    • 50% discount applies to 2 calendar weeks during the year for holidays (the centre is closed for approximately 2 weeks over the Christmas period) – Families must provide 4 weeks’ notice to management. Additional holidays are charged at the full rate.
    • No fees are charged during the 2 week Christmas closure period.
    • All additional days booked must be prearranged with management prior to attendance.

  • We absolutely love Leaps & Bounds Preschool Highgate and would recommend it to anyone looking for childcare. This is our daughters 3rd daycare & sons 2nd and by far the best we have seen and experienced. The transition went so smoothly with the staff and on the first few days our children got to spend with each other so they always felt safe which meant a lot for us as parents. Our son is more settled than he ever was at his previous day-care and each morning it is such a calm and welcoming environment for the both of them. Drop off’s have never been so easy & it is such a joy to see the kids so settled and happy. They always talk about their friends & teachers when they get home and look forward to going again each day. There is nothing to fault about Leaps & Bounds and we could not recommend a better place for anyone to send their kids.

  • We feel so very fortunate to have our 2 children attend Leaps and Bounds Preschool. From the moment we walked in, we felt ‘part of the family.’ The carers are all so friendly and approachable and make sure that we are kept involved and informed about the children’s progress every step of the way. The centre itself is warm and inviting, the activities offered to the children are interesting and varied with staff dedicated to extending the children’s thirst for knowledge in the areas they show interest in.   • Both my children love attending Leaps and Bounds Preschool. Throughout their time at the Preschool they have established good friendships with other children and carers. The student groups form quite a little team and my youngest can name everyone in her class by first and last name. Furthermore, the programs delivered give students the opportunity to learn new skills and ideas as well as play and explore the natural environment. My children particularly love getting involved in the garden. I really like the student lead learning that is so evident in everyday activities and lessons.
